We did a fundraiser which was a fun run. We raised $51 which means we saved 510 gumbutangs. The chalange was being carfull with our money and what we would do for a fundrasir. It would be helpful when we grow up because we need to be careful with our money when we buy a house and a car or holiday.
The skills that we used were thinking skills and maths skills.

    # Well we did an activity about how to save animals and it was fun.
    # A challenge was what to pick one of the funraiser but then when we picked it we had a buget and some stuff we could’t bye.
    # This will be helpful if you become a buisness man because you’ll buget a lot.
    # Logical-mathematical is the thinking skil we used.

We decided to do a sausage sizzle because a lot of people like sausages and we decided to do it at the school because it’s better because there is a lot of people at school and at the shops there is a food court so people can eat at other places. A challenge that we encountered was trying to stay below our budget. Where this knowledge will be helpful in our life is when we need to buy a house. The types of thinking and skills that were required for this task were creative because we had to think of a creative way to attract people to our fundraiser.

Rachel and I loved learning about budgets, we saved $150 for the gumbutangs! We chose a sausage sizzle to raise money. A challenge we encountered was how much money to make the food cost. This knowledge will be helpful when we have to buy things in life and it can help us if we get a job that involves selling. We agree Domenic and Edwin it was very fun!

We played a game where you have to save the gumbutangs. A challenge we uncounted was we had to work out our budget so we don’t go over price. This would be because in life you will have to work your budget. We had to use the researching and scanning skills so you can find the correct information on which is the better campaign.

Breannon and Jacinta played the fundraising game!
What we did~ We created a fundrasing walkathon and we had a really fun time organising our own event. To make our event successful we had to buy products in our budget but still good enough to sell.
    A challenge we encountered~
We had to stay in our budget and still make sure we had enough money to continue buying suplies for our event.
Where this knowledge may be helpful in our life~
When we donate or even buy things, we have to make sure we are not buying to much so we stay in out budget.
What types of thinking or skills were required for this task~
There were many different skills used for this task and one was ~Intrapersonal~ because we worked in a pair.
We raised $853.10 to help the gunbutangs and we are very proud of it!!

We chose to do the marathon fundraising event. We thought buying all the things we needed for out fundraising event was a challenge because you only have a budget of only $100. We think this would be helpful in our lives because it teaches you how to save money. I think a thinking skill we used was the creative thinking skill because we had to create a fundraising event.

This activity is great for people learning about budgeting and making a profit. An challenge we encountered was getting the right prices for everything and not buying too much of one thing. We think this would be good for people who are just starting a business. we used the rembering thinking to remember what we did wrong and what we done good.
